Scoring:
Points are awarded on final result of each game played. (includes 3rd place game, so 64 games total)
Points will be awarded in one and only one of these categories for each game played:
3 pts - regulation time WIN (90 min + injury time)
2 pts - overtime WIN (overtime and/or penalty kicks)
1 pt - overtime LOSS (overtime and/or penalty kicks)
1 pt - regulation time DRAW (90 min + injury time)
0 pts - regulation time LOSS (90 min + injury time)
In addition to the above categories:
1/4 pt - each goal scored (includes goals in regulation, overtime, and penalty kick shootouts)
Points earned are multiplied by the Team/Country Multiplier (Individually listed as between 0.9 to 4.9)
[Better countries have lower multipliers, Underdog countries have higher multipliers]
Be aware that only two teams come out of each group from the Round Robin stage to the knockout
stage so spread your picks accordingly (or not)
Entry with the most points is the winner. Tied entries will split the prize pool.
