Yarn Crawl 2018
Laura spent the weekend visiting yarn shops as part of the LA Yarn Crawl 2018. There were 26 total shops participating, but this year she only made it to 7. 7 must be her lucky number though, as she was the lucky winner of a Daily raffle at Jennifer Knits (Torrance) where she won a great set of bamboo interchangeable needles and some pretty silver stitch markers. And on top of that she won the Sponsor/Shop basket at Needlepoints West! This basket was filled to the brim with yarns, patterns, a personalized yarn bowl, kits, notions for both crochet and knit, a set of Lykke Driftwood DPNs, and all sorts of other goodies. It was fun to visit the shops and see all the other folks yarn-crawling, and the prizes were icing on the cake!
