Corned Beef

Celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with Corned Beef!

Two actually! One cooked in the traditional CrockPot (8.5 hrs high), and one cooked in the Instant Pot (1.5 hrs, high pressure). Both were finished in the oven with a mustard/brown sugar glaze. The verdict? Both were good, the IP one may have been a bit more tender (?) and was certainly quicker! More experimentation is in our future…. Oh, and the veggies – potatoes and carrots – were cooked in the IP after the meat was done and glazed.
